The final stop on the NMEDA-United Spinal Association Hospital Tour took Amy Schoppman, Director of Government Relations & Public Policy, to Touro Rehabilitation Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Joined by USA’s VP of Community Support, Matt Castelluccio, NMEDA and USA delivered a resource-filled presentation to hospital staff that emphasized our Quality Assurance Programs, educational offerings for healthcare professionals, and the vital importance of transportation independence.

The group later moved outside to view several accessible vehicles provided by Superior Van & Mobility, whose Harvey-based staff were on-site to share their product knowledge and expertise with Touro’s therapists and administrators.
