Reminder, you can't always see what people are going through. They may be battling an invisible - to you - disease.

"Please remember that each case of MS is different. Take the time to hear their stories, and don’t make assumptions," DariAnne. Shared via National Multiple Sclerosis Society. #NMEDApartner"I want to remind people that you can’t always see what people are going through.

In this photo, I could not see at ALL out of my left eye. I had just lost my vision and was in and out of the hospital while we were trying to figure out what was wrong.

We had 5 ER visits, the ophthalmologist, MRI, and neurologist in 8 days. It was insane, but Simon and I were trying to keep good spirits.

I was officially diagnosed about a month and a half later, and have learned to live with my disease fairly well. For the most part, it doesn’t affect me, but I have moments. In my case, just knowing I have MS will make me sad from time to time and I have to figure out how to bring myself out of it.

Please remember that each case of MS is different. Take the time to hear their stories, and don’t make assumptions.

Grateful to be here."
