About Us

Since 1989, NMEDA has been the backbone of the adaptive mobility equipment industry across the US and Canada. We set the safety and quality standards that QAP-accredited mobility dealers are held to, so people with disabilities can drive, travel, and live independently with confidence.

As a nonprofit trade association, our work spans dealer accreditation through the Quality Assurance Program (QAP), education and training for industry professionals, and direct advocacy before Congress and federal agencies.
