CAMS is Back with Record Attendance
After a two-year hiatus, the popular Comprehensive Automotive Mobility Solutions for Healthcare Professionals (CAMS) educational training has returned and with one of the highest attended sessions that we can recall!
Driver Rehabilitation Center for Excellence (DRCE) located in Chantilly, VA served as host at their facility for over 70 registered attendees. The DRCE, in partnership with BraunAbility, Sure Grip, and Q’STRAINT sponsored the all-day event. Tim Jones, OTR, CDRS was the course instructor and after a full day of instruction, vehicle walk-arounds, and exchanging of information, the attendees gained new knowledge about the industry.
Feedback from participants included:
- “Amazing! The hands-on activities were great; I loved learning about the modifications.”
- “It was great to be able to interact with the manufacturing reps.”
- “I learned how to better prepare my patients to search for safe and reliable driving equipment and vehicle options.”
The intent of the CAMS regional event is to educate local health professionals and influencers about the auto mobility industry. In turn, they become aware of resources, including where to refer their patients and caregivers who are seeking auto mobility solutions.
