CAMS Heads to the West Coast
United Access in Everett, Washington hosted the most recent Comprehensive Automotive Mobility Solutions (CAMS) course on March 22, 2023.
As usual, the course covered a wide range of topics about personal automotive mobility solutions. Thanks to the support of BraunAbility and Sure Grip, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about specific mobility equipment solutions for their clients and were able to have some hands-on exploration of various products, including a BraunAbility Swiss Army Van featuring new seating options, the BraunAbility Chevy Traverse XI, the BraunAbility Toyota Hybrid XT, and a variety of Sure Grip hand controls and products.
ADED Past President Jenny Nordine, OTR/L, CDRS provided an engaging presentation to the attendees which included OTs, nurses, case managers, ATPS, and representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs and Washington Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
“We were excited about being a part of this, it really was great!” said Ashley Crook, Sure Grip. “We had amazing participation from all of the attendees, manufacturers, and the host. Jenny shared some great stories leading to more questions and interesting conversations with the participants.”
