Last week, NMEDA’s Director of Government Relations, Amy Schoppman, led our third Automotive Mobility Awareness Tour stop at Northridge Rehabilitation Hospital in California. Accompanied by Nick LiBassi of United Spinal Association, the pair conducted an outdoor presentation on automotive mobility solutions for nearly 50 hospital staff and administrators. Thanks to MobilityWorks and Ability Center, attendees were able to have a hands-on tour of some adaptive equipment and wheelchair accessible vehicles, including a GMC Sierra pickup truck. We continue our tour in mid-December at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital in Forth Worth.
