Many original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) offer rebate assistance to customers when they purchase accessibility products. Each NMEDA member manufacturer has their own program, all of which are listed below. The FCA US DriveAbility Program offers an up to $1,000 financial assistance rebate to install adaptive equipment on new purchased or leased Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, FIAT® and Alfa Romeo Brand vehicles. Contact the DriveAbility Program Headquarters at (800) 255-9877 or any FCA US Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, FIAT, and Alfa Romeo dealership for eligibility requirements and program expiration dates.
Receive up to $1,000† when you add eligible mobility-related equipment to your new Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac or GMC vehicle. Or receive up to $1,200† when you have qualifying adaptive equipment installed (or reinstalled) on an eligible purchased or leased new Express or Savana van.
This program provides cash reimbursement of up to $1,000 of the cost of any aftermarket adaptive equipment or conversion, for drivers and/or passengers, when installed on any eligible purchased or leased new Toyota vehicle.
Audi will offer up to $1,500 in assistance for hand controls (or other approved handicap assistance devices) to anyone who purchases or leases a new Audi or CPO Audi vehicle. The client should contact an adaptive equipment retailer of their choice for information concerning the purchase and installation of such equipment.
The BMW Mobility Program makes getting behind the wheel even more enticing. When purchasing or leasing a new or Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) BMW from an authorized BMW Center, customers who require mobility modifications may qualify for a one-time adaptive equipment reimbursement of up to $2,500.

Ford Mobility Motoring offers up to $1,000 of financial assistance toward the cost of the installation of adaptive equipment on a new Ford or Lincoln. The program also offers Ford Credit Mobility Financing and comprehensive Roadside Assistance. To begin the Ford Mobility Motoring process, contact the Ford Mobility Motoring Customer Care Center.
We believe in the freedom that goes along with driving your own car. But we also know that buying and modifying a new vehicle can be expensive. To help out, Genesis is offering $1,000 toward the cost of adaptive equipment. The Honda Customer Mobility Assistance Program is supports the mobility needs of drivers and passengers with physical disabilities. Honda will provide a reimbursement of up to $1,000 to each eligible, original retail customer for expenses incurred to purchase and install qualifying adaptive vehicle equipment on any eligible purchased or leased Honda vehicle.
Buying and modifying a new vehicle can be costly. So, we offer $1,000 towards the cost of adaptive equipment. We’ve included links to guides, fact sheets, a claim form, and specialists who can help you get the equipment and training you need.

Mazda USA will reimburse up to $1,000 toward the purchase and installation of adaptive driving aids or mobility assistance equipment on all eligible Mazda vehicles. Adaptive driving or passenger equipment includes, but is not limited to, wheelchair or other lift equipment, and hand or other driving controls. Accessories are not eligible for the Mazda Mobility Program. The purchase and installation of equipment that costs less than the maximum $1,000 will be covered at the actual cost. The purchase and installation of equipment exceeding $1,000 will be covered up to $1,000.
The MINI Mobility Program makes getting behind the wheel of a MINI even more enticing! Upon the purchase or lease of a new or Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) MINI from an authorized MINI Dealer, customers who require adaptive equipment to their vehicle may qualify for a one-time reimbursement of up to $2,500 of the expenses.
The Nissan Mobility Assist Program is committed to making every Nissan vehicle accessible. To help make this happen, we’re offering up to a $1,000 reimbursement on your purchase and installation of qualified adaptive equipment. It’s a simple process that you can manage directly through the Nissan Mobility website.
The Subaru Mobility Assist Program* provides reimbursement of up to $1000 on new Subaru vehicles from authorized Subaru retailers in the United States to help qualifying owners get necessary vehicle modification due to medically recognized physical disabilities.
