QAPx E-Signature Upgrade, Final Inspection checks, New Calibration Provider
QAPx E-Signatures:
We are happy to share that QAPx has introduced electronic signature capabilities! Starting February 1st, you will no longer need to print and scan forms out of QAPx for customer signature. The ability to sign right on a tablet is now active. You will also be able to send the forms to the customer via email for them to sign electronically. To help you learn how to use this new feature, we have added training HERE.
Please note, due to the development costs associated with this new feature, the monthly fee for QAPx will increase from $49 to $57 beginning February 1st. Billing will continue to be in 6-month intervals with cycles in February and October.
QAPx Final Inspection Issue:
It has come to our attention that some users are not completing the final inspection tab in QAPx and only the bottom two boxes are being checked.
Each section expands to show all the inspection points that need to be verified.
New Calibration Provider:
NMEDA has partnered with a new calibration provider that can provide calibration services across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico at a discount. Transcat can calibrate most of your tools like torque wrenches and meters, but they do not do scales. You can drop your tools off at one of their locations or mail them in. To receive the NMEDA discount, you must contact Peter Hadeed directly and let them know you are with NMEDA. He will set it up with the local lab.
