NMEDA’s Advocacy Team focuses its resources and expertise on advancing legislative, regulatory, and other government efforts to support, promote, and enhance the automobility industry.

This broadly includes:

Educating elected officials and decision makers on the critical importance of quality and safety relative to automobility products and services

Establishing performance requirements for providers of government-funded automobility solutions

Improving third party payment standards and processes

Supporting legislative and regulatory proposals that will enhance mobility, increase independence, and achieve best outcomes for people with disabilities
