2008 NMEDA Conference Interviews


The following interviews were conducted by Matt Valenzano with Exceptional Parent (http://www.eparent.com/) and cover an array of services that are available in the mobility industry. NMEDA assumes no responsibility for the statements and/or opinions contained therein. The interviews were conducted on a volunteer basis.


Adaptive Driving Alliance
Paul Musso tells the viewer how the ADA works to raise the quality standards in the mobility industry.

ADED
Lori Benner describes the services of the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists, a non-profit organization that educates professionals involved in the field of driver evaluation and training.

Braun Ability
Troy Schultz reveals some details about the products that Braun Ability provides for both consumer and commercial purposes. He also walks the viewer through the new 2008 RT Entervan and Rampvan.

Bruno Independent Living Aids
Mike Bruno describes the various vehicle lift solutions that Bruno has developed for children and adults. He notes that Bruno provides solutions for the home, as well.

Drive-Master
Peter Ruprecht takes the viewer back in time as he shows us various types of hand controls developed in the early years of the mobility industry. He also provides some insight on how these products have evolved over the years.

Pride Mobility
The viewer is introduced to the SilverBoom lift through a step-by-step demonstration in which a scooter is placed into a vehicle.

Q'Straint
Patrick welcomes the viewer to the Q’Straint 'Lock & Roll Café', where he describes the functions of the QLK-100 docking system as well as various other Q’Straint products available on the market.

Schrade Group
Kris Schrade provides details on how the Schrade Group can help businesses and consumers. The company writes service contracts and provides financial solutions for dealers and consumers across the country.

Sure Grip
Keith Howell gives the viewers a look at the Sure Grip push/rock hand control developed by his company. The product’s easy motion allows full-range braking and acceleration with minimal hand travel.

Sure-Lok

Ed Kendzierski talks about the company and provides a demonstration of the Dock ‘N’ Lock, an automatic tie-down system new to the market. For more information about the Dock N' Lock call 800-

VMI
Doug Eaton tells the viewer about the Phoenix based company and the various products they provide. He also provides details about VMI’s new conversion ventures into the Honda Odyssey.

Volvo
Bill Buchka describes Volvo’s relationship with the mobility dealer. He also provides details on their rebate program, which offers up to $1,000 to assist with modifications on Volvo vehicles.

Wheelchair Getaways
Dale Richardson describes the unique services that Wheelchair Getaways provides. The franchise rents wheelchair accessible mid and full-sized vans to consumers across the United States and Toronto.
